Dr. Who

The Doctor takes one of his companions with him to some far off world where there's these beasts that have massive trees sprouting from their backs. They eat a certain bush or tree, and the seed pod sprouts from its body.

     "Th-the forest! It's moving!" "Ah yes, the Fangorn forest. Quite literally a living, breathing, and moving forest"
     "Fangorn forest? Like from Lord of the Rings?"
     "Yes, the very one. This is the exact forest Tolkien based it off of."
     "So Tolkien travelled space and time like you? He's an alien?"
     "No no no... He's human, and a quite alright one at that. We used to be good friends, took him on loads of adventures. He even based one of his characters after me!"
     "You're kidding... I've never seen anything about a time lord in any of the books he wrote."
     "Of course not! What would a time lord do in a world like that? (mutters to himself: though I would like to've seen the making of the ring....) No, think!"
     "Who?!"
     "Last of the Dunadanes, a 'human' who lived far longer than any other man... though I do think he got my age wrong..."
     "You're kidding me... Aragorn?"
